Am 14.06.2024 wurde der neue Meshtastic-Einschub mit PA und abgeglichenem Filter auf dem Wasserturm in Leer installiert. Jannes DL2BV hat die Komponenten in ein ansehnliches Gehäuse eingebaut und den Filter auf die neue Frequenz 434,100 MHz abgeglichen. Die Sendeleistung beträgt 450 mW, was eine Vervierfachung der üblichen Sendeleistung zur Folge hat.

I know about this PA module. They are also available for 868 MHz. I wonder if only LEER has such a PA, or is it more common and are there more stations in the Mesh network who use a Amplifier on 434.1 MHz ?

Hello, we only have PA at nodes that are strategically important points. These points then connect to the other nodes. Therefore, the PAs are useful for connecting strategic points that are further apart from each other.
